My name is Talles and I am Brazilian heading to Toronto within 1, 2 months from now as immigrant.
I am also in the IT field basically working with BI, SQL Server . Before I lived in Russia and Sweden for quite a time and the reason for contacting you it is because I can not find much information about IT on the net regarding Toronto, however I am well aware it is best the city to find an IT opening position in Canada.
If you do not mind, could tell me how it is like the job interviews there… how do they handle it…do they apply a test or best part of the time do they just raise questions so this way they check out you technical knowledge??
Would my professional experience in Brazil and in Russia in the IT field be taken into account by the employers or would I have to start from the scratch??
Is there any other job source beyond Workopolis.. technet… which IT guys use to send their resumes??
Well .. I am sorry for writing you that much, but unfortunately it is not that easy to find much information about IT on the net like I mentioned above.. yes some of the info I still find on the net .. but not all.
If you could help with these questions.. specially about interviews there… certainly I will be more than grateful.
